How Do You Know If your Boyfriend Is Cheating On You?

In the first place, when your boyfriend is cheating on you, he will be more cautious, as he knows his doings are wrong. This only implies that you should train to develop an attitude to pay close attention to finer details, once you have the slightest suspicion that he is cheating on you.

But how do you get that suspicion that he is actually cheating on you? Firstly, do not ignore your gut instincts, as more often than not they may be right. And these gut instincts may come from small things. For instance, the way he picks up his phone can really tell you a lot, if he is hiding something from you. Never take for granted those phone calls, which he allows to ring for a very long time and then excuses himself to pick it up and moves away from you, especially when you are just the two of you in a room. Of course men will always use the excuse that they are "business calls". These are the most common excuses these days.

More often when your boyfriend cheats, he will unconsciously want to compare the other woman with you in the same position. He may suddenly ask you to change your appearance. What he is doing instinctively is that he is telling you, "why don't you dress and look like the other woman?" Such proposals can even extend to the physical intimacy, where you may notice that he may want to try out other sex styles or kisses differently. When this happens all of a sudden, it would be strange and without doubt a very strong pointer that he is cheating on you.

You ought to smell the rat too, when he comes home and becomes more than unusually kind and friendly compared to other days. This is always the result of the guilt one has and tries to cover up. Worse still, if he starts taking a bath soon after he comes home. If you pay close attention to the niceties more likely he will always overdo, especially if he is never all that affectionate. And when you ask him in such situations, where he has been and he would reply "hanging out with friends", and is not specific about what type of friends. If this is so, then you should be dubious and somewhat skeptical.

Finding hair or objects or possessions that don't belong to him is perhaps the surest fact that he is cheating on you. When you confront him with all these facts, and he gets defensive, then you have pinned him down unmistakably. But don't be so sure and rely only on that reaction. Remember, at the end of it, it is all suspicion, and some boyfriends may actually act very composed once you confront them in a bid to fool you even more. If that happens, then pay even more attention to any change in their routine.

It's very wise, however, to always verify your suspicions, before you decide to tackle your boyfriend, whom you feel is cheating on you.
